ALERT!!! DATE CHANGE
“Day with Dad” has been scheduled for Saturday, November 2. Once again we will have the opportunity to minister to incarcerated men and their families. The unit has allowed us to increase the number of fathers from 30, to 50! We praise God for the additional 20-35 children for a total of 50+++, who are going to get to spend the day with their dads. This also means you are needed as a volunteer more than ever! To be able to participate in this amazing day of restoration, the children must be accompanied by volunteer mentors. Faith Community Church has been asked to provide 17 mentors, so more than ever, there is a place and a need for you!
* * We will meet directly after Sunday service on SEPTEMBER 29, to complete the required paperwork followed by training for anyone who has not been trained. * *
Please let other people know about this event. If they are interested you can tell them to view the ABC Nightline video on YouTube: Children of inmates reunite with their fathers behind bars for one day. This will give them a taste of the experience.
